Authorisation type — One-time and permanent passwords, 2FA

Modified on Thu, 5 Sep at 1:56 PM

To choose the login mode, click on the profile icon in the top menu on any Personal Account page, then click on the "Authorisation type" tab.

⚠️Attention!

SIP account password management is only possible with two-factor authentication mode and Owner, Administrator roles.

Choose login modes:

  1. One-time password

Choose this mode if you want to receive a one-time password for each login. One-time passwords are sent to your email to confirm your identity at each login.

  2. Permanent password

This mode allows you to use a permanent password for login. After initial setup, it will be used for all future authorizations.

  3. Two-factor authentication

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an authentication mechanism that requires the user to provide two different factors to confirm their identity for access to an account or system.

Two-factor authentication enhances user security because even if a user's password is compromised or stolen, an attacker cannot access the account without the second confirmation factor. This provides an additional level of protection against unauthorized access.

    • If the second factor is used:
      • "Email" — always active. A one-time code is sent to the email address.

      • "Phone" — a call will be made to the specified phone number, and then a robot will announce a four-digit number (twice), which needs to be entered in the "Code" field.

      • "PUSH notification" — a one-time code is sent to the mobile application.
