Variables in chatbots are a value that can take on different values, depending on the specified parameters within the chatbot script. Variables can contain various types of data such as text, numbers, dates, and others.
Variables can also be used to store information that the user enters during communication with the chatbot, as well as to transfer data between different blocks of the chatbot script. For example, a variable could contain the name the user entered in response to a chatbot question, and then be used in other script blocks to personalize messages.
To work with variables, chatbots use special commands and functions that allow you to receive, change and transmit variable values.
Using variables in chatbots allows you to create more flexible and personalized scenarios, which improves the user experience and increases the efficiency of communication with the chatbot.
To work with variables, go to the “Chatbots” section >> “Variables” tab.
Select a chatbot, specify a variable and its name, and then click the “Add Variable” button.
